Bear is a new symbol of “TONAR” factory

“Tonar” is going to be 25 year-old at 2015. Almost all these years the factory symbol was a circle with letters written into it, which was firstly designed in 90-s.
From 2015 production of the factory “Tonar” will be decorated with new symbol – roaring bear.
Natalya Malinina, head of the advertising department of OOO MZ “Tonar” comments the choose of new logo:
“Before choosing this symbol, we with marketing department made some serious analyze. There were other options, but in the end we all agreed on the bear symbol because of some reasons:

“Before choosing this symbol, we with marketing department made some serious analyze. There were other options, but in the end we all agreed on the bear symbol because of some reasons:
- Bear – is an acknowledged symbol of Russia. For many Russian regions bear is a dear symbol. And "Tonar" is a truly Russian manufacturer. By the way, it was impossible to understand that looking at the old logo. Also the product name could be wrongly read from time to time in English and not in Russian letters.
- Bear is a symbol of resurrection, because a she-bear appears from its den with a little bear in spring. That way we wanted to underline how serious was the technical refitting carried on the factory in last years. Those, who visited our plant can confirm this.
- Bear is a symbol of Russian strength and might. And everyone heard about TONAR’s vehicles might and endurance.
- Bear is a symbol of natural riches of the country. Without false modesty we can say that “TONAR” factory enters the number of companies those make people of our land proud.
- Bear is a symbol of precaution. At all stages we do our best to carry about a lot of things – driver’s comfort, safety, transporter’s profits, guarantee and availability of spare parts and many other things.
- Bear personalizes the might of northern latitudes. Russia – is a northern country, and our vehicles are adapted to work in the harshest climatic conditions.On the logo the beast is looking forward as if it challenges the difficulties, demonstrates assurance in overcoming them. The raised front paw gives a feeling that it is going to make a step forward. The symbol is very emotional and dynamic. The Bear opened its maw, it’s roaring. We hope that this symbol, this ancient charm will protect those who drive our vehicles from possible problems as on the road as in their business affairs.
