May 20, 2016 there was annual presentation at the TONAR plant
Traditionally we presented the main models of machinery produced by the plant.
Despite the bad weather visitors could see samples of dump trucks, Curtainsiders and Insulated semitrailers, timber semitrailers, container chassis, a dig range of agricultural machinery and Mine dump trucks.
True to himself, TONAR exhibited the latest innovative developments. Among them - the semitrailer-grain truck 9386 (Hopper), which has no analogues on the Russian market. Thanks to bottom dumping and lack of hydraulic equipment, this model has a rather small curb weight (6900 kg). This allows to increase cargo weight and, as a result, to significantly shorten the payback period.
Also there was shown one of the export models - a 6-axle tipper semitrailer with side dump. It was manufactured by special order for one of the countries of the Middle East. The dimensions and technical characteristics of this giant impress even the most sophisticated specialists: cargo weight is 70,000 kg, body volume is 70 cubic meters. There are 3 lifting axles and 3 swiveling axes.
And, of course, the most anticipated and most in demand in Russia for today model of the new light-weight semitrailer TONAR-9523, which has undoubted merits in comparison with the ordinary representatives of this technique.
Usage of high-strength steels ( HARDOX and DOMEX ) made it possible to facilitate curb weight of the semitrailer up to 6,600 kg! Due to new Russian Federal Law each carrier is interested in operating a vehicle of minimum curb weight, in order to avoid overloading and at the same time to transport as much as possible.
Also TONAR has represented the line of axes TONAR. The most popular models are: 9-ton axle with drum brakes and single-tyre wheel (model 9042), 13-ton axle (model 1342), 25-ton axle (model 2542), low-frame axle (model 1130) and a new axle with disc brakes (model 9043)!
The production of axles is actively developing now. In addition to the fact that 95% of the produced machinery is produced with TONAR axes, many companies engaged in the production of trailers are increasingly order TONAR axes for their technique.
According to tradition there took place demonstration of machinery in operation.

Later, everyone could take part in a unique excursion to the factory workshops, where they could see in real time how the body, axle or frame of a new semi-trailer was born. Continuing the modernization of production, the plant management every year launches new robotic complexes, the work of which could also be observed during the excursion.
The event ended in the factory canteen, where in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the conversation between the guests and representatives of the plant continued.
For this day the presentation was attended by more than 100 specialists from different regions of Russia and other countries. According to the registration data, more than half of them are heads of enterprises, departments, highly qualified specialists.
