The results of annual “Tonar” presentation

On 24 of April machine building factory “Tonar” traditionally held annual full-scale presentation of all equipment produced by the factory. Changeable weather of Moscow region couldn’t prevent equipment demonstration, because new and improved models were gathered in newly built automobile workshop.
Tipping equipment:
Let’s start with the most interesting and truly amazing for Russian transporter development – cassette tipper. The cassette tipper is a coupling: tipping tractor (16 cub.m.) and non-tipping trailer (12 cub.m.) Moreover the trailer’s section is a bit smaller than the tractor’s body section. Thanks to that the trailer can be dragged into the empty body of the tractor:
That is principally needed to work in constrained conditions of megalopolis. Loaded coupling arrives at the city’s border, leaves the trailer somewhere on the parking, and the tractor itself goes to unloading on a construction site. Then it returns on the parking, drags loaded trailer into its empty body and goes again to the unloading place.
The advantages are obvious – for a single car it is much easier to maneuver on the busy city roads, and beside that if the leg of travel itinerary is long the profit is obvious.
Among new products there was also demonstrated a tipping 3-axle semitrailer Tonar-952302 with 24 cub. lightweight body (Hardox and Domex steel is used) and automatic electric tilt, controlled from key ring.
Thermo semitrailers:
Among thermo semitrailers – 14 meters-long thermo semitrailer with aluminum floor making it possible to transport up to 35 europallets (for 2 pallets more than standard thermo body). Aluminum low-noise floor creates inside the body fully sealed “bath”.
Curtain semitrailer:
One of new models – 16 meters-long curtain semitrailer (tilt-cutain) Tonar-974611DN with inside body height 2.7 m. Semitrailer can transport 25% more than a 13.6 meters-long semitrailer. Renewed model of curtain 13.6 meters-long semitrailer with inside height 2.7 meters and removable bolsters.
Vehicles for wood transportation:
Quite a serious change was made in timber truck Tonar-9445. The timber truck was demonstrated with telescopic bolster, those can change theirs height, what increases possible body volume by 15 cub.m. This improvement will be appreciated by buyers using this equipment for transportation not on the public roads, but, for example, to transport wood from the plot to the road.
New bolsters are made of light steel DOMEX, what decreased semitrailer’s gross weight by 1 ton!
Semitrailer-graincarrier Tonar-9385 was demonstrated in new modification. Its sides are made of corrugated sheet what can be found in shipping container. Body’s width makes it possible to load into it double row of pallets, and that provides possibility to load passing cargo for transporters.
Beside that was introduced a new product in attached equipment for farming machines – granulated fertilizer spreader, meant to work with tractors.
Mine dump truck Tonar-45251 aroused interest among the visitors as it happened on previous presentations. Increasing sales and good working results in many Russian and the near abroad mines provide the interest.

The main factory persons – Krivtsov D.Y., Veinstein Y.P., and vice-technical director Belov V.V. personally did a tour through factory’s workshops. That way everyone could estimate the scale of manufacturing, automation level and production robotics.
