History of the Tonar plant
The main stages of our development:
Trailers for passenger cars

Start of production of TONAR kiosks

First full-size semi-trailer

Start of production of insulated bodies

Production of own axle assemblies

Peak sales of dump semi-trailers

First models of agricultural machinery

Start of production of dump road trains with side unloading.

The first Russian (technological) mining dump truck was produced

A new product on the Russian market – cassette dump truck

A new, unparalleled in Russia, giant road train was produced, consisting of a mining (technological) tractor and an articulated dump semi-trailer with two bodies, capable of transporting more than 130 tons of cargo on technological roads!

On May 19, 2017, at the annual TONAR factory presentation, a modernized version of the TONAR-45251 technological (mining) dump truck was presented

For the third year in a row, the TONAR plant was recognized as the best enterprise producing import-substituting products, presenting the TONAR-9523 aluminum grain semi-trailer!

At the end of 2019, the factory's design bureau developed a fundamentally new type of chassis with an 'offset' axle, located more than 2.5 meters away from the group of closely spaced axles.

On November 30, 2020, the TONAR plant celebrated its 30th anniversary. In the same year, TONAR was the first among Russian manufacturers to produce a curtain-sided semi-trailer in TIR configuration.

On May 27, at the annual factory presentation, the first all-wheel-drive off-road articulated dump truck Tonar T-35 was presented. By the end of 2021, TONAR held 19% of the market among new semi-trailers, ranking 2nd among all manufacturers by the number of registered vehicles.

In 2022, TONAR presented 2 absolute novelties: a specialized semi-trailer for transporting oversized tires TONAR-9984 and the first Russian-made glass transporter semi-trailer TONAR S4.

In 2023, TONAR pleased us with new products. Among them: the T-45 articulated dump truck, the Tonar-BS18 tractor trailer for farmers, and the Tonar-97861 isothermal (refrigerated) semi-trailer with an increased body volume of up to 87 cubic meters due to the semi-frame design.

In 2024, TONAR presented the SH4-74M semi-trailer for scrap transportation. In addition, curtain-sided semi-trailers received a number of improvements: the rear pillars, spare wheel basket, side protection, receivers, wing brackets, tool box became galvanized, and the front shield became prefabricated aluminum.

Сегодня выиграет тот, кто сможет перейти на российские детали и комплектующие. Это залог стабильности и конкурентной цены, не зависящей от скачков курса.
